Each language has its own atmosphere. When I listen to people speaking Portuguese, I just feel the good vibe. Brazilians are simply happy people, they are easy going, fun, and optimistic. When I listen to someone speak Russian they inspire me a lot of respect…there’s something about the Russians that says “I am brilliant” or at least that’s how I feel about them. After taking French courses Leeds students were asked what their feeling about the French people was. They thought these people were romantic but at the same time very disciplined and polite. When we think of France some images that pop up in our minds are the Eiffel Tower, castles, Arts (especially painting), Edith Piaf, Champagne, Napoleon, and Cheese. But for cheese, and apart from the sound of their language, all these images may be what build the atmosphere of their language. Can you think of any other French-related image?

When thinking of taking French courses Manchester students explain that they want to travel to France after finishing their studies, and in order to have a good experience they need the language. Knowing the language of the place you are travelling is always recommended, but when it comes to France it’s a must. It seems that the French expect those who visit their country to be able to speak French, or at least try. It’s actually a good thing, because their “demand” helps you have a better travelling experience. Remember that it’s impossible to understand and live a culture without knowing the language. They go hand in hand, since language builds our world, not the other way around.

Fortunately, when taking French courses Liverpool students count on qualified native speaking French teachers that not only teach them the language but also its nuances, while helping them achieve a more native-like pronunciation. Lessons can be taken any day of the week including weekends, at any time of the day, whether it be morning, afternoon or evening. The learning process is quite natural that way, so when the moment of setting off to France arrives you’ll be prepared to enjoy every single aspect of France, and probably meet some new friends.
